I´m currently studying Translation and Interpreting (ES-EN-PT) , where I´m developing my communicative skills-among many others- I´m experienced in the fields of direct and reverse translation (EN-ES), teaching and public relations in events (e.g. V.O.R.) I see myself as a creative and self-confident person, determined to achieve her goals, diligent, productive, inquisitive, self-reliant, with an increased initiative but with a sense of commitment, confidence, responsibility and lateral thinking.

I can say that when it comes to languages, I am “in my element”; I came about the English language from a very early age, out of curiosity, learning the language in the same manner a native does. The total immersion in the language, its culture and traditions from Anglophile countries, (I´ve been to Edinburgh and London with scholarships and travelling in an autonomous way), has allowed me to get a global view and have an open-minded vision, to adapt to new environments and solve complex issues. These language skills make me specially suited for working in companies with international projection.

I´m trained to take on an important role for many companies, due to the fact that in today´s business world, in the context of a global economy, language is key and the way we communicate is very important when working with different countries and cultures; This is the area where I´d like to develop my profesional career: being part of a team at a company as an English language expert, paying a special effort in helping the company in its adaptation to this new international field of business.  

I´d like to work on the fields of translation and English language teaching, but I´m also open to any employment option that demands other type of duties that take into account my language skills.

Actualmente curso el Grado de Traducción e Interpretación (ES-EN-PT), donde trabajo mis habilidades comunicativas (entre otras) Tengo experiencia en el ámbito de la traducción especializada directa e inversa (EN-ES), la docencia y como relaciones públicas en eventos tales como la V.O.R. Me considero una persona creativa, con autoconfianza, decidida a alcanzar sus metas, diligente y preocupada por la productividad. Me gusta afrontar mis responsabilidades con autonomía e iniciativa, pero con gran sentido del compromiso.

Puedo decir que los idiomas constituyen mi “elemento”; tomé contacto con el idioma inglés desde una edad muy temprana, aprendiendo como lo hace un nativo. La inmersión total en el idioma, la cultura y tradiciones de los países anglófilos, (he realizado estancias en Edimburgo y Londres mediante becas y viajado de forma autónoma), me han permitido adquirir una perspectiva global y tener una visión más abierta, adaptarme a nuevos entornos y solventar problemas complejos. Estas destrezas en el uso del idioma me capacitan para trabajar en empresas con proyección internacional.

Estoy preparada para asumir un importante papel para muchas empresas, dado que en el mundo empresarial de hoy, en un contexto de economía global, el idioma es clave y el modo en que nos comunicamos es muy importante cuando se trabaja con distintos países y culturas; es en este ámbito en el que quiero desarrollar mi carrera profesional: formando parte del equipo de una empresa como experto en idioma inglés, esforzándome por ayudar a la misma en su adaptación a este nuevo entorno internacional de los negocios.

Me gustaría trabajar en los ámbitos de la traducción y docencia en inglés, pero estoy abierta a cualquier opción laboral que exigiendo otro tipo de funciones tenga en consideración mis habilidades lingüísticas.
